External Sales Representative (Business Development Manager) and Internal Sales Representative

External Sales Representative / Business Development Manager
Are you a dynamic sales professional ready to take on the challenge of driving business growth? As an External Sales Representative/Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of customer interactions, forging strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions.

Position: Fulltime Permanent, based in Bayswater Victoria

Responsibilities Include:
  • Reaching out proactively to potential customers, actively seeking and following up on leads and opportunities. Arrange face-to-face meetings with clients to showcase our client’s products.
  • Working with a team to meet sales targets for the state.
  • Quickly connecting with new clients to make sales happen.
  • Giving regular updates to the Regional/Sales Manager each week, sharing details about the sales pipeline and possible opportunities.
  • Serving a variety of customers, including farms, industrial, and infrastructure projects, and be open to working with anyone who could benefit from our client’s products.
 
Pay: $90k - $110k p/a (depending on sales experience WITHIN relevant industries) + Super + Car Allowance + Fuel Card + E-tag + Annual bonus scheme 

Qualifications:
  • Tertiary Level Engineering or Business Management qualification is highly desirable 
Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Business Development or Sales
  • Industrial/Infrastructure/Agricultural experience highly desirable
Competence:
  • Effective planning and budgeting abilities.
  • Robust business development expertise.
  • Proficient in sales development and management.
  • Strong leadership, motivation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, listening, questioning, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven aptitude in recognising and seizing new business prospects.
  • Thorough understanding of products, industries, and market dynamics.
  • Skilled in decision-making and strategic planning.
 

 
Internal Sales Representative:
Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and driving sales success? Join our client's team as an Internal Sales Representative, where you'll be the first point of contact for customers, delivering professionalism and confidence in every interaction.

Position: Fulltime Permanent, based in Bayswater Victoria

Responsibilities Include:
  • Dealing with all inbound customer inquiries including phone calls, emails and request for quotes.
  • Responsible for supporting the customers in ensuring they pick the right product for their needs, by using internal product guides.
  • Navigating the Internal System to create jobs/orders 
  • Providing world-class customer service and sales skills
Pay: $70k - $75k p/a + Super + Annual bonus scheme

Competence:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in managing relationships and expectations across different levels.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, characterised by approachability, positivity, and motivation.
  • Genuine appreciation for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Adept at sales and cross-selling techniques.
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritisation.
  • Computer Literacy
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service or sales role.
  • Experience in a technical or industrial environment preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
