Role Overview:

2XM Recruit is seeking Digital and Content Support Officer for a NSW Government to support in the Environment and Heritage “Drupal Project” involves the re-platforming of the Environment and Heritage website to a Drupal Content Management System (CMS) which will assist in the project team in the successful review, retirement, and transition of content from the existing Sitecore content management system to Drupal.

The role will provide administrative and technical assistance to Senior Content Officers.
It involves working closely as a team as we plan all the tasks to assist with the successful migration of content into a Drupal CMS and existing website, transferring from a Sitecore CMS. A particular focus will be the pre-content migration tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
This includes a range of pre-content migration tasks, including but not limited to the following typical tasks.
This will be with the guidance and support of senior content officers but the role requires the ability to work independently and methodically through allocated tasks.

  • Tidying up of content in Sitecore CMS including saving and archiving of content, image, and video assets.
  • Archiving and unpublishing of content on the Sitecore CMS
  • Identifying and documenting broken media files, problems with tables and other issues with content.
  • Creating spreadsheets of duplicate page titles.
  • Identify images with the same file name.
  • Mapping and documenting components, guided by Senior Content Officers.
  • Find Teamsite links and redirect in website content, update and remove.
  • Assist with review of analytics and documentation of technical queries or functional requirements.
  • Escalation of problem areas to Project Manager and Senior Editor Lead for further discussion with Executive if required.
  • Attendance at Project Meetings as required and work in progress meetings with immediate project content team.
Qualifications:
  • Sitecore and Drupal skills essential.
  • Technical and digital expertise relating to websites and content.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Highly organised and ideally familiar with Excel spreadsheets and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent attention to detail in completing repetitive and manual tasks.
  • Comfortable working within a Content Management System and with a range of media assets including images, PDFs, video files and some limited content editing if required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions/guidelines or process.
  • An understanding of NSW Government website content and digital standards and principles is highly desirable and/or best practice for digital content.
  • Must be diligent and able to work with minimal supervision while also being a team player with a collaborative project team approach.
