Our client is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Asset Strategy Manager – Civil who is responsible to lead, create and develop our clients policies, strategy and plans for the civil, stations and heritage discipline. The plan will detail the required routine maintenance, corrective maintenance, major periodic maintenance, refurbishments, growth & improvement, external interfaces.
Key Accountabilities of the role:
Manage and develop the civil discipline assets part of Asset Management Plan for a 10-year period, ensuring a comprehensive approach to asset management to meet service levels (with an annual budget around $200M).
Create a framework and develop policies, strategies, and plans for civil assets. Align these plans with ISO 55001 Asset Management Standard.
Establish requirements, oversee development, inspect, audit, and monitor routine and corrective maintenance, as well as the annual works program for civil assets. Provide feedback to resolve issues with the work performed.
Provide civil engineering advisory services to asset strategy managers, including condition reports, audits, and maintenance/renewal recommendations for various assets like overhead wire structures and signalling supporting structures.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification and an equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
Extensive demonstrated experience in engineering asset maintenance and/or design & construction relating to civil assets.
