The role 2XM Recruit are excited to be partnered with several clients in the Newcastle and Hunter region are looking for highly skilled and motivated Fabricatorsto join their dynamic teams. You will be providing cutting-edge machinery engineering and installation services. You will be playing a crucial role in unique projects delivering maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical systems and equipment across various industries, such as rail, mining, and general engineering. The successful candidates will work for reputable companies committed to innovation, safety, and excellence. Skills & Experience:
Previous experience with construction of fixed plant equipment or heavy maintenance components highly regarded.
MIG Welding of vehicles experience high desirible.
Heavy industrial Fitters (Mining, Rail, Aviation, Naval, Earth / Mobile Plant & Bus industry) are encouraged to apply.
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Ability to use a variety of hand & power tools
Ability to work independently & as part of a team
Be physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks
Qualifications & Requirements:
Australian Trade Certification III in Engineering - Fabrication essential.
Australian fulltime working rights.
Current drivers licence and/or reliable transport.
High Risk Work License;
LF Forklift License
VOC Over head crane highly desirable.
Working at Heights or willing to obtain.
Ability to pass pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
