About the role: 2XM recruit is partnering up with a leading client in the engineering space supplying to Defence, Marine and Commercial industries. You will be part of an established team working on Garden Island on exciting projects. Key responsibilities:
Installations and repair of Deck Machinery, winches, switch gear, motors and pump sets
Conduct routine inspections on fire systems
Assist with fault identification, troubleshooting & condition reporting
Adhere to strict security protocols and ensure that all installations comply with relevant safety standards
Document all work performed, including system configurations, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs
Requirements & Qualifications:
Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (security requirements)
Trade qualified Electrician
Min. 3 years experience
Heavy industrial or Naval experience
Obtain Federal National Police clearance
Confined Space and Working at Heights advantageous
Willing to complete medical testing and drug and alcohol test
Strong safety experience
