  • Permanent Role
  • Monday to Friday plus OT paid at penalty rates
  • $40-45
  • Location: Western Sydney Area
  • Some roles include a company car
A number of our trusted clients are seeking skilled individuals to fill multiple roles as Field Service and Workshop Technicians. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and repairs on a diverse range of equipment, including elevating work platforms, telescopic handlers, Rough Terrain Forklifts, Lighting Towers, Generators, excavators, Dozers, skid steers, and forklifts. Meanwhile, Workshop Technicians will undertake similar tasks within a workshop setting.  

The Role
  • Undertake scheduled maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and repairs on various types of equipment.
  • Enjoy a dynamic work environment with a diverse range of tasks.
  • Field Service roles involve traveling to different locations to service equipment, while Workshop roles are based in-house.
The Person
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an associated industry, with knowledge of machinery such as elevating work platforms, telescopic handlers, Rough Terrain Forklifts, Lighting Towers, Generators, excavators, Dozers, skid steers, and forklifts.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Well-developed mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Experience
  • Automotive Electrical or Mechanical trade certificate in heavy / light vehicles, plant, motor mechanic, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated 2-3 years' experience working on heavy machinery is desirable.
  • Experience and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in fault diagnostics and relevant software.
  • Forklift license is desirable.
  • Current driver's license is essential.
