2XM Recruit have ongoing trusted and valued working relationships with Major Mining Engineering Contractors who operate across Construction Projects, Shutdown & Maintenance within the Mining Industry.
Our Project and Shutdown & Maintenance Division is one of the busiest across the WA Australian Mining Industry with consistent ongoing FIFO Rosters.
We are currently looking for HD FITTERS to start immediately, with experience in the Mining Sector.
All positions on offer are based on a casual basis, with the possibility of being offered long term opportunities.
Our client is a leading engineering service provider in the Pilbara region.
JOB DETAILS – PILBARA REGION
Start date - ASAP
Roster – 8:6 roster
Location – Karratha (need to be Rio Inducted)
Pay Rate – up to $95 per hour (depending on the experience)
Scope of work - Servicing, diagnostics and repairs on heavy mining equipment. Providing technical support, assisting with breakdowns and diagnostic work.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Cert III Trade Qualification (Mechanical & Engineering)
Previous FIFO experience as a HD Fitter
Valid Driver’s Licence and necessary tickets & licences
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
Ability to provide at least two contactable work-related references.
Safety orientated and committed.
