Workshop Based Role
Location: Redbank, Ipswich

Are you an experienced and trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter seeking a rewarding career in the Rail Industry? Look no further! 2XM Recruit, a leading provider to the Rail industry, is actively seeking a skilled fitter to join our esteemed global rail client based in Redbank.
Key Responsibilities:
Overhaul and rebuild locomotives and components.
Perform scheduled/reactive maintenance, warranty work, and provide ongoing technical support for diesel locomotives and components.
Strip down, maintain, clean, and reassemble locomotive components.
Ensure all tasks align with relevant maintenance documentation.
Execute technical modifications as necessary.
Precision work in accordance with trade requirements.
Consistently complete work in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain safety, quality, and environmental practices and standards.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical.
Relevant industry licenses/tickets.
Previous experience in fault diagnostics, component maintenance, and rebuilds.
Preferable experience in Diesel Locomotive maintenance.

Additional Information:
This is a contingent workforce role, and many previous casuals on site have been transferred to permanent positions due to headcount and outstanding work performance.
