Job description

2XM Recruit are a leading National Provider of Recruitment & Labour Hire Services with over 10 years’ experience supplying qualified personnel to the Mining, Engineering, Construction & Rail industries across Australia.

2XM Recruit is currently seeking Mechanical Fitter or Hydraulic Fitter for an ongoing position based in Newman.

Job details:
  • Location – Newman (ex. Perth)
  • Roster – 2:1 or 8:6
  • Scope of work – Servicing remote mine sites; including warranty repairs, ongoing services, service truck training/handover and commissioning on the variety of mobile mining equipment (no engine work).
Training will be provided in Perth area prior mobilising on site.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Trade Certificate (Australian recognised)  
  • Hydraulics experience (highly regarded)
  • Valid Drivers
  • Confined Space
  • Gas Test Atmosphere
  • Working at heights
  • Demonstrate Fire Attack Training
  • Experience in similar role/setting ideal
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
