We are seeking experienced trade qualified Mechanical fitters / Mechanical technicians to join a Global leader in Rail, situated in Eagle Farm. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, enjoys working within a workshop and someone who is ultimately looking for stability, security and wanting to join a company that prides itself on work life balance and a great team working environment.
This role is working within the thriving Rail industry which is THE industry to be in right now given the current market.
The Role - involves carrying out Locomotive components overhaul and re-builds.
Completing maintenance request forms
Component Overhaul, Maintenance and Repair work
Strip, cleaning and assembling and testing components
Fault finding, maintaining and re-build
Experience with pumps and valves
Able to be versatile within the role
Experience/Requirements
You must be Trade qualified – Certificate lll In Engineering – Mechanical
You need to have a strong attention to detail due to working with delicate components
Previous experience with fault diagnostics, maintaining components and re-building them
You must be able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Police Clearance
Able to work in a busy workshop environment
