2XM Recruit currently have multiple positions available for Trailer Mechanics (Trade and non-trade) for 2 busy workshops close to Perth CBD. You will be joining a high-functioning team with a strong pipeline of work.
Basic duties:
Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on trailers and tanking systems
Assess and repair hydraulic components
Dismantle transmissions, mechanisms and other components to assess maintenance requirements
Mechanically repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components
Conduct routine preventative maintenance services
Test all mechanical parts after being repaired to ensure repairs are adequately completed
General housekeeping as required
Requirements:
Previous experience working with heavy trailers or heavy automotive equipment
Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic components
Team-orientated, positive attitude towards work
Trade Certificate is advantageous but not essential
