2XM Recruit are looking for 1st & 2nd Class Welders for a range of exciting, ongoing opportunities around Perth within the Rail, Engineering & Construction sectors. We have positions for both trade and non-trade, so all Candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
 
Work includes a range of duties including structural steel, modifications, new builds of mobile plant/ automotive equipment/ rail equipment, maintenance, and repair work.
 
 
Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks according to specifications
• Ensure the quality of welds by conducting inspections
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams
• Operate welding equipment and tools
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively

 
The succesful Candidate will have:

• Relevant proven workshop experience
• Excellent quality of work and time management skills
• Strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment
