2XM Recruit are currently seeking a HSE Advisor to join one of the largest Rail Freight businesses in Australia on a permanent basis in Bankstown. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading player in the industry.

Role: HSE Advisor
Location: Bankstown
Job type: Permanent
Salary: $126,000 - $135,000 plus Super
 
Duties:

• Support risk management efforts and enhance workforce skills in hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Provide leadership mentoring in the field and oversee critical control implementation effectiveness, reporting on outcomes.
• Presenting findings to operational leaders.
• Take charge of business unit projects to align with agreed HSE strategic goals and implement tactics to enhance operational safety performance.
• Engage in audit and compliance assurance tasks within the established compliance framework, standards, and procedures.

Experience needed:

• Strong communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in the construction, engineering or rail industry (or similar)
