Interviews will take place ASAP as pre-employment assessments will need to be completed prior to commencement. Key Responsibilities for these Roles Includes:
Carrying out Locomotive, and component overhaul and re-builds.
Undertaking scheduled / reactive maintenance, warranty, and ongoing technical support of diesel locomotives and components
Stripping down, maintaining, cleaning and re-assemble the locomotive components
Ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with relevant maintenance documentation.
Perform technical modifications as necessary
Precision work as per trade requirements.
Consistently completing work in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintaining safety, quality, and environmental practices and standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
Certificate lll in Engineering - Mechanical
Relevant Industry licences/tickets
Previous experience with fault diagnostics, maintaining components, and re-builds
Previous experience in the maintenance of Diesel Locomotives is preferable
