Our trusted client is seeking a skilled individual to work as a Mechanical Trade Assistant within the Queanbeyan area. As a Mechanical Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and repairs on a diverse range Traffic equipment, including traffic lights, message boards and arrow boards. As well as some work on Mobile plant.
About the Role:
Cleaning, General Servicing and Repairs of Traffic Management Equipment
Delivery, Pick-up and installation of Traffic Management Equipment
Customer Service.
Quality, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities.
You will also be required to be on call on a mixed roster for breakdowns and emergency.
Experience:
Applicants with a partial completion of apprenticeship in a mechanical trade or strong mechanical aptitude will be considered.
Proven mechanical and electrical experience in similar role highly desirable.
Experience and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficiency in fault diagnostics and relevant software.
Current driver's license is essential.
