2XM Recruit are actively seeking a Rolling Stock Maintenance Manager in Wollongong, NSW on a permanent basis.
 
Role: Rolling Stock Maintenance Manager
Job type: Permanent
Location: Wollongong
Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 plus Super
 
The Rolling Stock Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of rolling stock maintenance requirements and the facilities in Wollongong.
 
Duties:
 

• Supervising a small workshop team on a day-to-day basis to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Maintaining inventory levels to align with maintenance needs, ensuring all plant and equipment operate safely and effectively.
• Assuming responsibility for maintenance operations, coordinating the work schedule of the maintenance team in accordance with company requirements.
• Facilitating the smooth transportation of customer products from their origin to their destination.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Attend weekly leadership meetings with a safety emphasis.

 
Experience needed:
 

• Experience leading a small/medium sized team in a workshop environment.
• Experience and knowledge of locomotive and wagon maintenance actions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels.
