2XM Recruit are excited to be partnering with New South Wales Government who are seeking an experienced and skilled contractor to join our clients team as a Technical Maintenance Plans Analyst within the Sydney area.

The successful candidate will be accountable for providing the technical leadership to develop, implement and improve Technical Maintenance Plans (TMPs) for operational assets within rail to enable our client to meet safety and reliability performance targets to drive cost effective operation and maintenance of the assets throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Plan Development: Create and optimise comprehensive Technical Maintenance Plans aligned with the specific requirements of rail signalling projects.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct regular performance analyses to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the reliability and longevity of signalling systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance teams, project managers, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of maintenance plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to relevant safety and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Continuous Enhancement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes, incorporating technological advancements and industry innovations.

Qualifications:
 
  • Electrical, or other relevant Engineering / Diploma qualifications in Railway Signalling Engineering / Electrical with extensive practical experience in the maintenance of rail infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience in improving maintenance plans to achieve business and commercial objectives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in maintenance requirements analysis and reliability modelling on complex systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the retrieval, analysis and utilisation of complex system data and information to support management decisions.
