2XM Recruit have several opportunities available for Trailer Mechanics (Trade and non-trade) for 3 busy workshops accross the Perth metro area. Full-time and casual positions available. 
 
Basic duties:

• Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on trailers and tanking systems
• Assess and repair hydraulic components
• Dismantle transmissions, mechanisms and other components to assess maintenance requirements
• Mechanically repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance services
• Test all mechanical parts after being repaired to ensure repairs are adequately completed
• General housekeeping as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with heavy trailers or heavy automotive equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic components
• Team-orientated, positive attitude towards work
• Trade Certificate is advantageous but not essential
