Although this role is within a large Civil infrastructure organization, specific industry experience is not required for our Workforce Scheduler position. However, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years' experience within blue-collar resource allocation.

Although this role is within a large Civil infrastructure organization, specific industry experience is not required for our Workforce Scheduler position. However, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years' experience within blue-collar resource allocation.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for 27 internal staff which will include Civil Operators and Labourers
- Coordinate the allocation and forward planning of personnel for worksites.
- Collaborate with supervisors/engineers on-site to allocate resources between projects.
- Attend meetings with site teams to determine upcoming project staffing needs.
- Develop strong relationships with operational site leaders.
- Proactively forecast workforce requirements and adjust rosters and shifts accordingly.
- Plan for absences and manage replacements within short time frames, utilizing the casual pool when necessary.
- Coordinate communication regarding shift changes, ensuring compliance with fatigue management and award regulations.
- Assist employees and subcontractors in executing the Rapid Induction System.
- Liaise with other departments to provide necessary people-related data in a timely manner.
- Ensure project plans align with resource availability.
- Identify and assign resources to multiple projects, both internally and externally.
- Contribute to achieving team utilization targets by actively managing resource schedules.
- Manage resourcing conflicts and escalations according to project and business priorities.
- Support employees in recertification and verification of training.
- Provide assistance to the HSEQ Manager as needed.
- Support site teams in procurement to ensure early and cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor compliance with fatigue management policies among site personnel and payroll.
- Report personnel requirements to the Construction Manager.
- Maintain daily communication with sites to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with HR for efficient onboarding of new personnel.
- Prepare monthly reports for inclusion in the HSEQ Manager's report to senior management.
