We have an ongoing trusted and valued working relationships with Major Mining Engineering Contractors who operate across Construction Projects, Shutdown & Maintenance within the Mining Industry.
Our Project and Shutdown & Maintenance Division is one of the busiest across the WA Australian Mining Industry with consistent ongoing FIFO Rosters and Shutdowns across RIO, FMG, BHP, Roy Hill and Newcrest sites.
We are currently looking for a CIVIL SUPERVISOR for an upcoming 2&1 roster position to start as soon as possible.
JOB DETAILS
Site: Rio Hope Downs 1, Newman, WA
Roster: 2&1
Role Type: Temp to perm or permanent from day one – flexibility on employment type.
Project Duration: Current project until Christmas and further projects at the same site thereafter.
Salary: $200,000 + super
Project Scope: HDPE pipeline project -Welding of HDPE, clearing, trenching, earthworks, demolition, working in an open-pit mining environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Help coordinate daily activities on a civil site to ensure efficient project progress.
Supporting project management & engineers.
Comply with the highest level of safety.
Leading a civil crew and always leading by example.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO capacity, RTIO & civil experience is highly desirable.
Relevant supervision qualification
Construction Induction Training (White Card)
National Police Clearance
Drivers Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
Ability to provide at least two contactable work-related references
