As they continue their mission to support individuals and families in accessing suitable housing options, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Service Officer to join our clients team in Griffith.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and assistance to clients and their advocates on housing options based on eligibility assessments and client needs.
- Collaborate with internal specialists and external service providers to make referrals for additional support services.
- Manage tenancies and support clients in maintaining successful tenancies.
- Facilitate tenancy and community participation initiatives to foster harmonious neighbourhoods and stronger communities.
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of client information.
- Monitor property condition and facilitate maintenance and minor modifications to meet client needs.
- Previous experience in a customer service or client support role, preferably in the housing sector or related field.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to housing and tenancy management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Proficiency in computer applications and data management systems.
- NCRC Check
- Must have a NSW drivers licence
