2XM Recruit are partnering with a leading Australian-owned manufacturer of critical power and energy solutions, in search of a Customer Service & Aftersales Lead. Based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for customer care and technical products—especially in the electrical, electronic, or power sectors.

This is a permanent role with the chance to grow in a well-established, engineering-led business, offering both stability and professional development. The position also includes interstate travel to support key clients and partners.

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 + Super

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and end-users to support the growth of the aftersales service offering.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored service solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of service coordination, including handling enquiries, scheduling, and site visit follow-ups.
  • Represent the business during interstate client visits, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, technical service) to ensure seamless delivery and support.
Ideal Background:
  • 1–2+ years’ experience in customer service, internal sales, or account management roles.
  • Exposure to electrical, electronic, or power-related products or industries—such as UPS systems, power converters, switchboards, or industrial equipment.
  • A technically minded individual who enjoys problem-solving and working with engineered solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and client-focused attitude.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel as part of a national client support role.
