2XM Recruit currently have a position open for a Electrical Fitter for a well known locomotive rolling stock company. 

• 6 month temp to perm 
• $52-56 depending on experience 
• + OT penalties + super 
• Based in West Melbourne (Inner city suburbs) 

You must be trade qualified and have experience in automotive, rolling stock, rail, process line, and or Defence / Gov't sectors.

You will be working on state of the art / leading edge machinery and equipment. This vacancy is available for an immediate start and will fill quickly on a first in best dressed basis.

This position is initially appointed on a casual basis, after 6 months you could secure full-time hours work, with the view to go permanent. 

Criteria:

• Trade Qualified Electrical Fitter - Cert 3 in Electrotechnology 
• Rail / rolling stock production workshop/depot exp
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
