2XM Recruit are a leading Trades & Engineering recruitment company and our client is a leading manufacturing facility and are part of one of Perth’s most exciting 2025 projects. We have a great opportunity for an experienced Gantry Crane / Forklift Operator supporting the wider project team transporting manufactured pre-cast tunnel segments from the production line to the storage yard.
We are offering excellent earning capacity across an 8-month project.
Pay Rates
12-hour days Monday - Friday
$35-40 per hour plus Superannuation – pay bracket based on levels of experience
+ Time Half and Double Penalties
+ Night shift loading

Key Responsibilities:
This is a Site based role, East of the river at a new facility specifically designed to deliver major manufacturing for Perth based Government Project
Work across a "fully automated batch plant" that is been installed specifically for this project.
Transfer Manufactured pre-cast tunnel segments to storage yard.
Yard duties, general labouring as and when required
Demolding, collecting and palletising completed segments
Qualifications and Experience
White Card essential
Forklift Ticket essential
Gantry Crane Ticket essential
High Risk Work License (HRWL) essential
Dogging and Rigging tickets highly regarded
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport (public transport is not available)
Previous experience in concrete/pre-cast/manufacturing environment highly regarded.
Ability to risk assess and hold a high regard for safety
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Motivated and hard-working
