About our client: Our client plays host to a dynamic team specializing in heavy vehicles, with a focus on specially modified hybrid vehicles. Based in Truganina, our client is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (experienced in Field Service) to contribute to their workshop-based operations, as well as providing on-the-road service excellence when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Prodominant workload will be mechanical fitting
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, fitting and modifications on heavy vehicles.
Conduct on-site service visits, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of mechanical issues.
Utilize expertise in hydraulics to troubleshoot and repair and fit hydraulic systems.
Collaborate with team members to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Requirements:
Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (required)
Experience in the workshop and on the road (required)
Strong background in hydraulics (required)
Full work rights in Australia (required)
Dual tradesperson qualifications are advantageous.
Valid MR truck license is advantageous; the company will support upskilling if necessary.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Work Schedule:
8-hour workdays, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Overtime opportunities available.

$48 per hour.
