EXCITING OPPORTUNTIES HAVE COME UP FOR A TEAM OF CONTRACT BASED HEAVY DIESEL MECHANICS TO JOIN RAIL COMPANY BASED IN WEST MELBOURNE. 

You must be trade qualified and have experience in rolling stock, rail, process line, automotive, and or Defence / Gov't sectors.

• 6 month contract with possibility of permanent opportunities 
• days and afternoon shifts available 
• OT and penalties 

Skills and experience

• Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel
• Previous experience on locomotives freight maintenance or service activities would be desirable.
• Previous experience within a heavy maintenance environment.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be a hands on team player
• Proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks, be flexible and resourceful, proactive and professional in manner with a high degree of initiative and strong communication skills

Pay - $54 - $57 per hour casual rate (depending on experience)
