Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics and Trade Assistants to join the dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our experienced diesel mechanics in maintaining, repairing, and servicing heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the diagnosis and repair of mechanical issues in heavy diesel trucks.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
  • Assist with disassembly and reassembly of components during repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a mechanic or trade assistant in a heavy diesel mechanic workshop is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of senior diesel mechanics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment components.
  • Safety-conscious attitude and adherence to proper workplace procedures.
Requirements:
  • Heavy Diesel Mechanical Trade certificate.
  • or good experience as a Trade assistant in a similar industry with vast knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
