2XM Recruit are currently looking for 1 x Mechanical Fitters for 3 month contract working on a rolling stock project in the Northern Suburbs. 

• Start ASAP 
• 3 month contract 
• Must be able to do 1 week of afternoon shift every 5 weeks 
• Rate $57.05 day shift and $65.61 arvo shift 

You must be trade qualified and have experience in automotive, rolling stock, rail, process line, and or Defence / Gov't sectors.

You will be working on state of the art / leading edge machinery and equipment. This vacancy is available for an immediate start and will fill quickly on a first in best dressed basis.

Criteria;

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Precision Fitter / Tool Maker
• Rail / rolling stock production workshop/depot exp
• Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable
• Must be able to read / interpret workshop drawings
• Fitting and assembling components
• Reading of Schematics
