2XM Recruit currently have multiple opportunities in Mining and around Perth for Mechanical Fitters to join a nationally recognised, industry-leading organisation in a role that will see you take responsibility for the service and maintenance of a variety of Light/heavy equipment.
As well as the below, we have multiple opportunities for all levels of Motor Mechanics, Mechanical/Maintenance Fitters and experienced Trade Assistants who are customer focused with a strong mechanical aptitude, so we would encourage you to apply. Primary duties will include:
Assembly, service, maintenance and repair on plant equipment
Fault-finding/ diagnostics
Component change-outs
Removal and repair of faulty parts
Lubrication of plant and equipment
Desired Qualifications & Experience: We will consider LV, HD and unqualified Candidates who meet the below criteria:
The successful applicant will need to have a good understanding of diesel engines and small petrol engines
2+ years maintenance and/or fitting across Engines, Gearboxes, Pumps, Valves or Compressors
Experience working with fixed plant, mobile plant, or automotive equipment
Forklift license – Advantageous
