Role Overview: As a Purchasing Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our the procurement operations. Your role will involve supporting purchasing activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and procuring mining equipment and consumables.
• Maintain purchasing records and update inventory systems.
• Communicate with suppliers to coordinate orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare purchase orders, track shipments, and manage invoices.
• Assist with vendor evaluations and negotiations to optimise purchasing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and maintain adequate inventory levels.

Qualifications:

• Previous admin / customer service experience.
• Previous Purchasing experience highly regarded.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
