2XM Recruit are actively recruiting for a Senior Rail Engineer/Designer on a permanent basis in the Inner East Melbourne suburbs.
Role: Senior Rail Engineer/Designer Location: Inner East Melbourne Job type: Permanent Salary: Circa $160,000 total package
Duties:
Develop high-quality, cost-efficient engineering designs and reports for a variety of track projects.
Create track design models and drawings, progressing from conceptual design to construction.
Generate design documentation within the agreed budget and timeframe for each deliverable.
Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and client requirements, including conducting peer reviews, design reviews, and documentation reviews.
Experience needed:
Proven history of high-quality engineering designs on track and civil projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation drafting software (ideally both)
Ability to work with minimal supervision
