Warehouse/Manufacturing Manager
Role type: 6 Month Contract
Location: Adelaide, SA
Rate: $72- $77 p/h
We are looking for someone with experience in production/ manufacturing processes and warehousing operations, who is confident managing inventory control and liaising across various departments. A background in rail manufacturing, train monitoring systems would be ideal for this position, however transferable industry experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring processes and schedules are met
- Manage stock in and stock out processes, maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Oversee daily operations across both manufacturing and warehouse functions
- Manage a small team of 4 working across various departments.
- Liaise with the parts and procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and components
- Manage and maintain inventory systems using SAGE software
- Monitor and improve production procedures for efficiency and quality
- Implement and maintain safe working practices and compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with reporting and documentation related to production and inventory performance
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives in production and warehouse operations
- Strong understanding of production processes, warehousing operations, and inventory management principles
- Demonstrated experience in rail manufacturing, train monitoring systems, or related sectors such as automotive or heavy machinery manufacturing
- Proficiency with SAGE Software.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and safety compliance requirements.
