Job Description: Are you a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in milling or turning? We are seeking Australian trade certified professionals. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our production process, utilizing your technical proficiency to operate CNC machines and deliver high-precision components to exact specifications.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines (Mills or Lathes) to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and threading.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand product specifications.
Programme and set machines using controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain, Fagor, Siemens and Haas.
Inspect parts for conformance to quality standards using precision measuring instruments.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of machines and work area.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Australian Cert 3 in Mechanical trade.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of machining techniques and processes.
Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Proficiency with precision measurement tools (Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
