Perfect opportunity for a student / junior Contract Administrator to be working with a reputable construction company, specialising in Office/Shop Fit-Outs & Commercial Development.
About The Role:
With a strong pipeline of work confirmed, an exciting opportunity has been made available for a Junior Contract Administrator to join their team to assist with the ongoing operations of their Fit-Out projects.
This diverse role will see you working closely with the Director & site staff, where you will be an integral part of ensuring the projects are being delivered on-time & within budget.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Quantifying Material & Labour from Working Drawings.
- Issuing Purchase Orders.
- Maintaining strict document control.
- Subcontract & Supplier Negotiations.
- Maintaining Up to Date Price File.
- Processing Invoices & Addressing discrepancies.
- Preparing & maintaining call forward sheets & ensuring project time-line is being met.
- Preparing budgets and Tender Analysis for review.
- Working closely with the Site Manager to ensure that material & labour orders are issued and scheduling in material/contractors.
Skills and Experience
- Previous exposure to the Construction Industry is essential.
- Min 1 year in a similar role or currently studying within the construction space.
- Ability to read & interpret Construction & Consultant Drawings.
- Ability to communicate effectively both Orally & Written.
- Positive & motivated attitude.
- Data Entry & Administration.
- Work well under pressure & able to manage your work-flow.
- Knowledge of building regulations and occupational health and safety protocols.
- Ensure team maintain job site cleanliness.
- Holds a valid Australian drivers license.
