Project Coordinator – Site based upgrade works Location: Bassendean Rate: $60 - $80 per hour + super (depending on experience) Contract: 6 months duration with potential for extension
Are you a proactive Project Coordinator who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working closely with contractors and trades? We’re looking for someone to support the delivery of infrastructure improvement works on a high-profile, operational site.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Coordinating contractors on site to ensure smooth project delivery
Issuing permits for work and high-risk activities in line with compliance requirements
Tracking and managing budgets, with a particular focus on contractor spend
Ensuring contractors are carrying out their works to scope, standards, and schedule
Assisting with site readiness, risk management, and project reporting
What We’re Looking For:
Strong experience working with contractors and trades – you’re confident issuing work
permits and high-risk permits
Hands-on budget management – especially around contractor costs and variations Proven contractor management skills – overseeing daily works, quality, and compliance
Nice to Have:
Background in construction or building projects
Familiarity with site-based infrastructure upgrade works
Understanding of permit-to-work systems and site safety protocols
