Manufacturing Engineer Salary: $100k - $125k + Super (based on experience)

Manufacturing Engineer Salary: $100k - $125k + Super (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform R&D insights into precise production instructions.
- Maintain and update production bills of materials (BoM) for assembly.
- Manage design changes and ensure seamless integration into the ERP system.
- Collaborate with procurement, planning, and assembly teams to optimise operations.
- Lead initiatives to address non-conforming parts and drive quality improvements.
- Assess inventory levels and make strategic decisions on purchasing or in-house assembly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the Australian production/manufacturing sector, preferably in surface drilling.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Strong communication skills and a knack for technical report writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead improvements in assembly operations for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- Design and refine assembly routines, instructions, and checklists.
- Reducing product costs.
- Innovate testing and inspection methods to ensure product quality.
- Engage in projects that focus on safety and cost reduction.
- Document findings for Production Situation Meetings (PSM) and provide actionable insights.
- Lead production development projects and conduct risk assessments for new processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering role within the Australian manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with production design tools and CAD/CAM software.
- Strong communication and technical skills, with a proven track record in manufacturing.
