2XM Recruit are actively seeking a Procurement Administrator in the Western Sydney Suburbs.

Role: Procurement Administrator
Location: Western Sydney
Job type: 6-month FTC
Rate: $48 p/h Casual

As a Procurement Administrator, your role includes making purchase orders and stock transfer orders, updating records, and responding to order and invoice query issues.

Duties:
  • Assist and support team in daily activities, including but not limited to Purchase Requisition and Order management and expediting for both material and services.
  • Contribute to meeting all operational KPI’s in Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery performance.
  • Identify and report cost saving initiatives and implementation.
  • Support the management of non-conforming products, returns & credit notes and pending invoices.
  • Attend meetings with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the implementation of process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Procurement Manager.
Experience needed:
  • Proficient skills in computers i.e. Microsoft Office with Intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of process management.
  • Relevant experience of Materials and or production management.
  • Knowledge of stock control, inventory and warranty systems and processes preferred.
  • Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, defense, avionics or any other safety critical environment (advantageous)
