2XM Recruit are actively seeking a Safety Advisor in Blacktown on a permanent basis.
Role: Safety Advisor Location: Blacktown Job type: Permanent Salary: Up to $148,000 plus Super
Duties:
Collaborate with the business to execute their Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) strategy and facilitate the implementation of the WHS Management System, fostering continuous improvement.
Oversee the establishment of the company's Safety Standards and prepare safety reports and relevant submissions for both internal and external stakeholders.
Lead efforts in identifying and mitigating safety risks, managing employee competency risks, and addressing incident responses, investigations, and safety-related remediation actions.
Perform thorough data analysis and reporting to ensure timely monitoring of compliance with legislative, regulatory, and governance requirements, as well as performance outcomes.
Ensure compliance by conducting audits against relevant legislation, management standards, and rail transport operator requirements.
Experience needed:
Diploma of Work Health and Safety, Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent qualification
Rail or Construction/Infrastructure industry experience
