Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Mortlake, VIC
Salary: $150,000 per year + Company Car + Superannuation + LAHA + Accommodation (whilst away from home)
Start: December 2023

About the role:
•          Permanent Opportunity
•          LAHA (Living Away from Home Allowance): $1,200 per week 
•          Company Car provided
•          8-month duration at Mortlake site, next project/site TBC (Melbourne based company with large project pipeline)
•          11/3 roster (Fulltime)
•          Specialisation in Earthmoving, Concrete, Underground Utility, and Drainage
•          Report to: Project Manager

Our client is making waves in the construction industry and on the lookout for an experienced Site Supervisor. They pride themselves on their team and are looking for someone keen to join them and their expanding business on a long-term basis.

This is a permanent role, however your first assignment will be in Mortlake for 8 months. Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to oversee the project with a focus on earthmoving, concrete, underground utility, and drainage. If you have a strong background in civil construction and the skills necessary to lead a successful project, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
•          Supervising tradespeople, plant operators and leading hand
•          Develop work schedules and supervise construction tasks
•          Manage subcontractors and oversee on-site operations
•          Ensure compliance, safety, and documentation in ESI construction
•          Enforce OHS policy and management plan
•          Monitor and integrate safety practices in project planning
•          Ensuring all employees, contractors and visitors comply with the requirements of the Environmental Management Plan and the Environmental policy
•          Pre commissioning checks
•          Complete paperwork required on job

Requirements:
•          Proven experience in civil construction, particularly in earthmoving, concrete, underground utility, and drainage.
•          Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role.
•          Strong leadership and communication skills.
•          Ability to work on an 11/3 roster.
•          Permanent work authorization in Australia.
•          Located near or willing to work in Mortlake (accommodation and LAHA provided for non-local applicants)
