2XM Recruit are actively recruiting for a Quality Manager on a contract basis for a leading rail technology and innovation business.
Role: Quality Manager
Location: Dandenong, VIC (1 day WFH)
Contract Length: 6 months (possibility of extension)
As a Quality Manager, you will help streamline Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management, improve business-wide reporting, and enhance system accessibility across teams whilst indirectly managing a team of around 3 Quality Engineers.

- NCR Management & Clean-Up – Address aged NCRs, ensuring proper resolution and alignment with compliance standards.
- Reporting & Analytics – Develop high-level executive reports, providing visibility on quality trends and improvement opportunities.
- Status Updates Across the Business – Create streamlined reporting processes to improve transparency and decision-making.
- Tech-Driven Solutions – Utilise automated quality systems to ensure seamless, remote access and business-wide reporting.
About You:
- Rail Industry Experience (Transit) – Strong understanding of quality processes in the transit sector
- Quality Methodology - Strong experience with Six Sigma
- NCR Expertise – Ability to assess, manage, and resolve non-conformance reports efficiently
- Executive-Level Reporting – Skilled in presenting insights to leadership and driving strategic decision-making. Tech-Savvy Mindset – Comfortable with digital tools, automation, and remote collaboration systems.
- Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail – Capable of identifying gaps, implementing solutions, and improving efficiency.
