2XM Recruit are actively recruiting for a Warehouse Manager on a permanent basis for a leading Engineering business. Role: Warehouse Manager Location: Fountaindale Job type: Permanent, 6am - 3pm, Mon - Fri Salary: Competitive salary
Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain robust warehouse systems and controls to ensure operational efficiency.
Plan and drive warehouse performance, setting clear objectives and aligning with business expectations.
Lead, train, and support warehouse staff to achieve high standards in safety, productivity, and service.
Prioritise DIFOT performance, ensuring customer commitments are met with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, picking, and packing, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Maintain accurate inventory records through effective cycle counts, investigations, and reporting.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager on stocktakes, Oracle transactions, and continuous improvement projects.
Monitor and enhance workflows, staffing, and space utilisation to meet performance and service goals.
Foster a safe, compliant workplace by enforcing company procedures and regulatory standards.
Lead and contribute to warehouse-related continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience needed:
Strong experience in a warehouse leadership role or senior leading hand experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
Solid working knowledge of computers.
Warehouse ERP Systems.
MS Office Suite.
